THE FORCE OF NATURE AWARD 2024

During International Women’s Day, NYC based NGO awarded me and three other amazing women as the Force of Nature 2024. What an honour!
This award comes from the years of work in the Peruvian Amazon region to create responsible sourcing models of gold for the jewelry industry. Training the miners and creating a bridge between them and the jewelry industry, with transparency and localism. One of my favourite things of working this project was the reforestation part. I believe that when we create regenerative models together with extractive models as it is the mining sector, the mindsets change and we begin a lifelong transformation.
